Hey, I'm Jake!

I'm a landscape and wildlife photographer based in the Northeast US.
When I first witnessed our National Parks and hiked the likes of Angel's Landing and the North Rim Trail, I knew I had to share that experience with others. For the last ten years, I've been trekking around North America. The adventure and ability to capture a moment of that experience to share is what inspires my photography.
I grew up in Upstate New York and Western Massachusetts. A graduate of Northeastern University, I originally pursued a career in law enforcement before switching gears to focus on photography and filmmaking.
I am one of the founding members of Happy Wasteland Studios. In 2015, I directed my narrative feature debut - Heroes Don't Come Home - an official selection of the 2016 Dances with Films Festival.
My hope is that some of these moments inspire you to get out and explore.
